Reward offered: Help find suspect wanted for plan to have police officer murdered

INDIANAPOLIS, April 2, 2020/ — The National Police Association announces the offering of a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man wanted by the Jacksonville, FL Sheriff’s Office. Bobby Lorenza Taylor is wanted for soliciting the murder of a police officer.

Police had already been attempting to track down 23-year-old Bobby Lorenza Taylor on a warrant for armed carjacking in the 5000 block of Westchase Court off 103rd Street. The suspect robbed the victim at gunpoint, then fled in the stolen vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office subsequently opened another investigation about Taylor. The new warrant is for solicitation to commit first-degree murder of a law enforcement officer as well as possession of a firearm by a felon.
