Tell these soft on crime judges to resign

In Harris County Texas, Deputy Constable Omar Ursin had just picked up dinner for his family at a favorite restaurant. He was shot to death driving home.

Ahsim Taylor and Jayland Womack have been arrested and charged with his murder.

But there’s more to the story.

Ahsim Taylor had previously been arrested and charged with Murder in an unrelated prior shooting death. Judge Amy Martin ordered him released on $75,000 bond rather than hold him in custody.

Jayland Womack had also previously been arrested and charged with murder in a different unrelated prior shooting death. Judge Greg Glass also ordered him released on $75,000 bond rather than hold him in custody.

Had Taylor and Womack been incarcerated pending trial on their separate prior murder arrests they wouldn’t have been on the street with the opportunity to murder Deputy Ursin.

Judges Martin and Glass have not earned the right to finish out their terms. Tell them to resign by signing our petition which will be delivered to them and the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct.
